MORE ON THE IMMUNE SYSTEM PLUS GOOD NEWS!.....

I know, I know you've read enough about the immune system but I found a great site that explains it so well. I will try to condense it a bit for easier reading.

(1)Our first line of defence is in our mucus membranes~mucous membranes like your mouth, nose, throat and intestines, it's called secretory IgA (sIgA).

If a Pathogen gets past the (sIgA) it then has to deal with T-killer cells (CD8) and antibody-producing B cells, producing antibodies and fighting the attack of the invader.

Then we have something called
NK cells, or Natural Killer cells, get their name because they're like your immune system's secret police force.

They work a lot like your T and B killer cells, roaming your body looking for pathogen-infected cells. But when they find them, a process called apoptosis takes place. In essence...

The NK cell forces the infected cell to commit suicide!"

It's hard to believe that anyone could get sick isn't it?

Yet with our stress-ridden world filled with oxidents and free radicals that threaten; with it's liver overloading power to overwhelm us, It's nice to know that we can get something that will really help to boost our immune system. I used to get bronchitis every few weeks, long sleepless nights [fighting to breathe] making life miserable and healing time lengthened, I haven't had it for months now. Whether it was the cell power or not I don't care I found the winning combo, CellPower™

will help both the skin and the insides regain their normal pH.

Another great idea is coconut oil for weight maintenance or even losing weight and to balance the omega-3’s and omega-6’s, the essential fatty acids.

I'm down from 22 different kinds of supplements to just the above. And trust me I needed to take them all just to stay alive, now I worry so much less and if I miss some supplement for a time it's really no big deal.

Here's some good news amongst the plethora of bad news we always get....

As waistlines increase so does the spread of type 2 diabetes, but an Iranian study has shown that Silybum marianum (silymarin) -- an antioxidant extracted from milk thistle seeds -- can help treat the condition, and its flavolignans can also protect the liver.

(3)
Just half a teaspoon of cinnamon a day significantly reduces blood sugar levels in diabetics, a new study has found. The effect, which can be produced even by soaking a cinnamon stick your tea, could also benefit millions of non-diabetics who have blood sugar problem but are unaware of it.

I just add lots of it to my daily oatmeal, but you can buy the caps to take after each meal. Cinnamon in caps

KEEPING A HEALTHY IMMUNE SYSTEM

NOTE THIS IS FOURTH IN A SERIES ABOUT THE IMMUNE SYSTEM, SO SCROLL DOWN FOR LOTS MORE INFORMATION.
(1)
Our bodies require adequate oxygen , they are not designed to thrive on low oxygen levels. 6%
or less oxygen in the atmosphere causes asphyxiation. We simply cannot live without oxygen,
and the more oxygen we breathe in from the air, the better for our health and well being. Good
breathing techniques in fresh clean air and exercises contribute much to a person's good health.
When the air smells bad we tend to breathe shallowly and our blood gets starved of oxygen.
Poor air warnings are now common in many places. (Is it possible that low oxygen levels in our
body are at least partly responsible for the increases in cardiovasular disorders?)

We can live only for a few minutes without oxygen, that makes oxygen the most important
nutrient of them all. If a totally adequate supply of oxygen is made available to all the
cells of our body, disease can diminish. Well-oxygenated cells are not as likely to get
sick.

So the very first thing we need for a healthy body is well oxygenated cells. That's one of the first things CellPower™
does for us when we take it everyday. CellPower™ brings pure oxygen to the cellular level. Then it helps each cell to release whatever is spent in it to keep each cell working hard to do what it's supposed to do. CellPower™ then enables the detoxification process at the cellular level.

ALL THIS MEANS IS THAT INSPIRATION AND EXHALATION IS DONE PROPERLY RIGHT DOWN TO EACH INDIVIDUAL CELL.

~~~~
We've all heard of T-cells and how they are the immune system in microcosm, and you've no doubt been watching and waiting for the cancer vaccines, but so far (2)without going into the "precise biological workings of cancer the... findings suggest why experimental cancer vaccines have to date been plagued by T-cell tolerance, a weakened rather than strengthened immune response,... because the vaccines keep the T cells from binding with proteins that identify the foreign antigens on the surface of unhealthy cancer cells." In other words the vaccines don't work so far. BUT, there is always CellPower™
, because it raises an acidic pH that cancer thrives in to a more normal alkaline pH and therefore---TADA---no cancers.
~~~
Then there are the external agent I spoke of in my last entry, viruses, bacteria and fungus, here again we have CellPower™ to the rescue. CellPower™ kills infectious bacteria and viruses, fungi, mold, and parasites. It has been shown to boost T-cell numbers and activity. It does not harm the beneficial flora and microorganisms needed by the body.

So, now we have a healthy body, what are the benefits? First, our bodies were designed to heal, so chronic inflammatory dis-eases like Diabetes, arthritis won't start or begin going away. Allergies, Emphysema, Indigestion, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), Kidney infections, Chronic fatigue syndrome, Skin disorders Bronchial asthma, joint pain, Short-term memory loss Fibromyalgia Viral, fungal, and bacterial infections, Muscle pain, AND Candidiasis WILL BE IN OUR PAST.
Second we can successfully deal with some of our excess habits like weight control. A healthy body will be a fit body, because we'll have more energy to use to stay active.

One more thing that I find very helpful in losing weight, coconut oil

~~~ I have something I wanted to share with you today, I managed to capture a picture of a hummingbird moth in my yard. I'd read about them in my garden magazines and sure enough there it was, about an inch long, wings so fast that you cannot see them and a curly proboscis to suck the juices out of my plants.
I'll post some more garden pictures when I can mow, we've had a two month drought and I can mow until the grass greens up and needs mowing. Well parts are really tall but much is burned brown. We should be getting some rain this week and after that I can mow!
I was so desperate for some garden exercise today that I started digging up the dreaded lilac in our front yard, it's so entrenched the roots go down to China, and it's really a chore getting it out!
You can see a few new pix at my photobucket
you can see the new front garden I made this week and the lattice I painted and installed behind my hedgegarden to block the views of my neighbor's fence and weeds, not that I don't have lots of weeds in my yard this year.
Amazed at what he had witnessed, he asked the police officer, "What
was that white stuff those men used to assemble all those pieces
The police officer smiled and said, "Oh, that was tollgate booth
Spielberg strongly desired the box office 'oomph' of these superstars, so he was prepared to allow them to select whatever composers they wished to portray, as long as they were famous.
"Well," started Stallone, "I've always admired Mozart. I would love to play him."
"Chopin has always been my favorite, and my image would improve if people saw me playing the piano," replied Willis. "I'll play him."
"I've always been partial to Strauss and his waltzes," said Segall. "I'd like to play him."
HOW DOES THE IMMUNE SYSTEM WORK?
Stresses to the immune system are:
-Mechanical damage- breaking a bone, tearing a ligament, getting a wound in the skin or other physical shocks to the body cause the immune system to kick in and begin the healing process.
-Diseases- caused by external agents, double 0 virus, fungus-amongus, and nasty buggies call Bac T. Eria [ok bacteria]
-vitamin deficiency- If you are deficient in vitamin D you will not be able to metabolize calcium properly and will get rickets causing weakened bones that break easily or become deformed, if you are deficient in Vitamin C you get scurvy, swollen bleeding gums, swollen joints, and bruising. A lack of Iron can cause anemia, and so on.
-organ degradation- an internal organ can become ‘sick’ either from environmental causes or damage from cumulative excesses.
-Genetic diseases- a coding error in the DNA can cause certain proteins to secrete too much or too little, causing problems at the cellular level; another strain on the immune system.
-Cancer- cells gone wrong and a nice little mess we’ve gotten ourselves into eh IS [immune system]?
The skin is our first line of defense to keep us healthy. The skin secretes an antibacterial substance that keeps most bacteria, spores and molds from growing on your skin; A good reason to keep your skin healthy.
The eyes, nose and mouth are obvious points of entry for pathogens but an enzyme called lysozyme in tears and mucus breaks down the cell walls of bacteria. Saliva is also anti-bacterial. Since the nasal passage and lungs are coated in mucus, many germs not killed immediately are trapped in the mucus and soon swallowed. Mast cells also line the nasal passages, throat, lungs and skin. Any bacteria or virus that wants to gain entry to your body must first make it past these defenses
However, once inside the body a germ has to deal with a whole different kind of immune system response. There is must deal with such factors as:
· Thymus
· Spleen
· Lymph system
· Bone marrow
· White blood cells
· Antibodies
· Complement system
· Hormones
If any of those are not working then the IS won’t be able to function to heal your body. Diseases like Candidiasis can so overload the individual organ functions that they can no longer fight off any opportunistic infection or basic weakness your body might have.
This is such a complicated topic that it’s difficult to simplify it, but this is the basic premise.
Our innards like an alkaline pH, but the skin likes it acid.
CellPower™
will help both the skin and the insides regain their normal pH.
(1) HOW STUFF WORKS/how the immune system works
http://health.howstuffworks.com/immune-system4.htm
Thursday, July 19, 2007
Stress and the immune system.
In the short term stress tends to raise the immune system. When we are confronted with a physical challenge like a bite, or puncture, scrapes, wounds or infections resulting; the body readies itself with the "fight or flight" response, readying itself to meet these problems.
(1)
Chronic, long-term stress suppresses the immune system. The longer the stress, the more the immune system shifted from they adaptive changes seen in the "fight or flight" response to more negative changes, first at the cellular level and later in broader immune function. The most chronic stressors – stress that seems beyond a person's control or seems endless – resulted in the most global suppression of immunity. Almost all measures of immune system function dropped across the board.
And as we've seen before stresses affect blood sugar levels and causes the blood pressure to rise. Severe and continued adrenaline responses will cause the body to be so depleted that it cannot respond to any opportunistic diseases like colds and flues, and yes, even cancers to develop.
The Elderly and sick are even more susceptible to stress-related diseases.
(1)
-Acute time-limited stressors: lab challenges such as public speaking or mental math.
-Brief naturalistic stressors: real-world challenges such as academic tests.
-Stressful event sequences: a focal event such as loss of a spouse or major natural disaster gives rise to a series of related challenges that people know at some point will end.
-Chronic stressors: pervasive demands that force people to restructure their identity or social roles, without any clear end point – such as injury resulting in permanent disability, caring for a spouse with severe dementia, or being a refugee forced from one's native country by war.
-Distant stressors: traumatic experiences that occurred in the distant past yet can continue modifying the immune system because of their long-lasting emotional and cognitive consequences, such as child abuse, combat trauma or having been a prisoner of war. Much of their analysis goes on to review the similarities and differences among the 293 studies that they examined. These studies included a total of 18,941 subjects. "Stressful event sequences" appeared to be weakly associated with different immune consequences, depending on the type of event. There appeared to be different patterns for grief than for trauma...
A person involved in an extremely stressful life will be much more prone to catastrophic dis-eases.
Oxidative stress, an imbalance of the atoms of oxygen at the cellular level will decrease the pH of the body and cause dis-eases. It's important to maintain a high pH of 7.0-7.50, or major diseases will result, especially immune system diseases like Diabetes, allergies, Arthritis and joint pain, Fibromyalgia, Viral, fungal, and bacterial infections, Muscle pain, and Candidiasis.
I know of a product that will help re-oxygenate the cells, act as an antioxidant, relieving the body of free radicals AND to raise the pH levels to normal: CellPower™
I've been using it for a few weeks now and the benefits are legion, every day I discover a new benefit. The first thing I noticed was my blood glucose levels were much reduced, even when slipping off my diabetic diet, I get a much better sleep, my energy is greater by a noticeable amount! My skin has cleared up [I get allergy rashes easily, but no more] the pain of Fibromyalgia is much decreased, my teeth are cleaner and they sparkle, my gums are healthier, [the cellpower goes to work as one drinks it being absorbed first by the mucous membranes in the mouth], infections go away much faster, my blood pressure has gone down, the candidiasis is nearly gone, I'm still losing weight, my pH is nearly normal...
I'm just thrilled about cellpower, I've searched for something to help me get well for many years. I am convinced. Cellpower can also be used topically for nail fungus and skin tags, etc. Before I started I was sick every morning, so sick I could barely drag myself from bed by 10am, my face was covered with rashes and pimples, I was suffering from extremely high blood pressure, I had no energy and could barely get the housework done. I feel like I'm actually going to live now, and feel great! I frequently got 'colds' that lasted a month or more and had an extremely hard time breathing while sick.
I also am still on a 70% alkalizing diet and For weight control, lowering Cholesterol, and balancing the Omega -3's and Omega-6 intake I'm still taking a tablespoon of coconut oil
Do you REALLY need email??
No Email?????? ........... An unemployed man is desperate to support his family of a wife and three kids. He applies for a janitor's job at a large firm and easily passes an aptitude test.
The human resources manager tells him, "You will be hired at minimum wage of $5.35 an hour. Let me have your e-mail address so that we can get you in the loop. Our system will automatically e-mail you all the forms and advise you when to start and where to report on your first day."
Taken back, the man protests that he is poor and has neither a Computer nor an e-mail address. To this the manager replies, "You must understand that to a company like ours that means that you virtually do not exist. Without an e-mail address you can hardly expect to be employed by a high-tech firm. Good day."
Stunned, the man leaves. Not knowing where to turn and having $10 in his wallet, he walks past a farmer's market and sees a stand selling 25 lb. crates of beautiful red tomatoes. He buys a crate, carries it to a busy corner and displays the tomatoes. In less than 2 hours he sells all the tomatoes and makes 100% profit.
Repeating the process several times more that day, he ends up with almost $100 and arrives home that night with several bags of groceries for his family. During the night he decides to repeat the tomato business the next day.
By the end of the week he is getting up early every day and working into the night. He multiplies his profits quickly.
Early in the second week he acquires a cart to transport several boxes of tomatoes at a time, but before a month is up he sells the cart to buy a broken-down pickup truck.
At the end of a year he owns three old trucks. His two sons have left their neighborhood gangs to help him with the tomato business, his wife is buying the tomatoes, and his daughter is taking night courses at the community college so she can keep books for him.
By the end of the second year he has a dozen very nice used trucks and employs fifteen previously unemployed people, all selling tomatoes. He continues to work hard.
Time passes and at the end of the fifth year he owns a fleet of nice trucks and a warehouse that his wife supervises, plus two tomato farms that the boys manage.
The tomato company's payroll has put hundreds of homeless and jobless people to work. His daughter reports that the business grossed a million dollars.
Planning for the future, he decides to buy some life insurance. Consulting with an insurance adviser, he picks an insurance plan to fit his new circumstances. Then the adviser asks him for his e-mail address in order to send the final documents electronically.
When the man replies that he doesn't have time to mess with a computer and has no e-mail address, the insurance man is stunned, "What, you don't have e-mail? No computer! No Internet! Just think where you would be today if you'd had all of that five years ago!"
" Ha!" snorts the man. "If I'd had e-mail five years ago I would be sweeping floors at Microsoft and making $5.35 an hour."
