chromium the first of four essential minerals for diabeticsChromium is a mineral essential to humans, yet as many as 90% of American diets are low in Chromium. Chromium is at the heart of a biologically active complex called Glucose Tolerance Factor or "GTF," which is responsible for increasing the action of insulin in the body. Insulin is a vital hormone responsible for transporting glucose inside cells and maintaining proper blood sugar and blood lipid (cholesterol) levels in the body. Chromium helps insulin metabolize fat, turn protein into muscle and convert sugar into energy. In fact, chromium-activated insulin increases the amount of blood sugar available for energy production nearly twenty-fold.

Magnesium, a benefit to heart, muscles, and liver
Magnesium Optimizer™ is a synergistic combination of nutrients that optimize magnesium metabolism. Magnesium is beneficial for nerve and muscular tissue metabolism. Magnesium and potassium can be utilized by physically active individuals to support electrolyte levels in the body. Taurine, a free form amino acid antioxidant, is a cell membrane stabilizer. Taurine enhances the effects of magnesium and potassium because taurine aids osmoregulation (maintenance of proper concentration of ions).

Zinc~!the healer mineral and last of the four essential minerals for DiabeticsL-OptiZinc is the only high-potency zinc supplement FDA-approved safe for human nutrition. L-OptiZinc is a patented 1:1 complex of zinc and 100% natural methionine, the amino acid that is best absorbed by the body, and serves as an antioxidant. Studies show that L-OptiZinc is absorbed better, retained longer and is more effective than ordinary zinc supplements tested. It also resists binding with dietary fiber and phytate, organic compounds that inhibit zinc absorption

Selenium~ a benefit to the immune system, diabetes is an immune system dis-easeSeveral studies suggest selenium is needed for proper immune function. Combined with other minerals selenium helps build up white blood cells helping fight infection and illness and to strengthen immune system operation. Selenium appears to positively impact cardiovascular diseases.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~recipe for breakfast~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I don't drink milk, no cereal, I don't eat grains due to my research into The Primitive diet, and eggs are acidifying, so I eat oatmeal, ewe! right? Well I modify it for my tastes, I make very thick oatmeal, enough for three days, I add a chopped apples; peel included in the gruel, then I spoon 1/3 of it into a bowl and add a generous helping of cinnamon powder, don't worry, oatmeal sucks up good flavors so you can use a lot, to help lower that blood glucose level. I add a generous couple of tablespoons of vanilla yogurt- for the probiotics and a good digestion, and then a teaspoon of unpasteurized honey, to help my colon.
This tides me over until my fiber drink at noon, and I'll eat some left-over homemade soup for lunch.
Rules for Better Writing
1. Verbs HAS to agree with their subjects.
2. Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.
3. And don't start a sentence with a conjunction.
4. It is wrong to ever split an infinitive.
5. Avoid cliches like the plague. (They're old hat)
6. Also, always avoid annoying alliteration.
7. Be more or less specific.
8. Parenthetical remarks (however relevant) are (usually)unnecessary.
9. Also too, never, ever use repetitive redundancies.
10. No sentence fragments.
11. Contractions aren't necessary and shouldn't be used.
12. Foreign words and phrases are not apropos.
13. Do not be redundant; do not use more words than necessary; it's
highly superfluous.
14. One should NEVER generalize.
15. Comparisons are as bad as cliches.
16. Don't use no double negatives.
17. Eschew ampersands & abbreviations, etc.
18. One-word sentences? Eliminate.
19. Analogies in writing are like feathers on a snake.
20. The passive voice is to be ignored.
21. Eliminate commas, that are, not necessary. Parenthetical words
however should be enclosed in commas.
22. Never use a big word when a diminutive one would suffice.
23. Kill all exclamation points!!!
24. Use words correctly, irregardless of how others use them.
25. Understatement is always the absolute best way to put forth earth
shaking ideas.
26. Use the apostrophe in it's proper place and omit it when its not
27. Eliminate quotations. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "I hate
quotations. Tell me what you know."
28. If you've heard it once, you've heard it a thousand times: Resist
hyperbole; not one writer in a million can use it correctly.
29. Puns are for children, not groan readers.
30. Go around the barn at high noon to avoid colloquialisms.
31. Even IF a mixed metaphor sings, it should be derailed.
32. Who needs rhetorical questions?
33. Exaggeration is a billion times worse than understatement.
I believe I break every single one of those rules!
What some call health, if purchased by perpetual
anxiety about diet, isn't much better than
tedious disease.
Have a blessed day.
