DETAILS ON ENZYMES

Sign-up for the weekly newsletter digest that is packed with the latest news in healthy living, you need this resource interactive

******************DETAILS ON ENZYMES*****************
Enzymes are proteins made up of amino acids. They are catalysts to create biological reactions, they are not used up in the process. Some of the required reactions[biological function] would happen very slowly or not a all without the enzymes. The amino acids in enzymes connect to make protein chains. These chains often bond together, creating patterns that seem to fold or twist into certain shapes, this gives each its distinct characteistics and function. If the specific pattern is disrupted the enzyme could be rendered inactive or be destroyed.

Enzyme each have a specific function and are essential to every spect of life, and they perform all the functions necessary for life. Without these basic biochemical purposes occuring; building compounds to break down substances [digestion, for instance], elimination of unwanted chemicals, life becomes encreasingly more precarious.

Food we eat is essentially just a mix of chemicals broken down by enzymes. Nutrients released by the foods we eat are the raw materials for our ability to maintain health. Vitamins and other nurtrients cannot be used in the body by themselves but are assisted by the action of the various enzymes. Enzymes are the key that unlocks all the goodness [vitamins, minerals, proteins and each amino acid-hormones that produce the health from various organs doing their jobs properly] in each tasty morsel we eat. Enzymes, while not alive themselves are the workers that assist many biological, chemical, and metabolic reactions.

Often enzymes need certain vitamins and minerals like Magnesium [which participates in over 300 enzymatic reactions] to be utilized properly, these are called co-enzymes. All enzymes are necessary and if a co-enzyme is not available, the enzyme in question will not perform its duties. This is why we need whole fresh foods, complete balance of diet and foods that are raw and grown with good healthy soils that have all the raw ingredients to make for healthy plants to help us stay healthy, see how all of this is important, how everything on the planet contributes to the health of the rest?

Enzymes run the body, every single operation in the whole organism must be facilitated by enzymes, Without the role the enzymes play illness begins to befall the body. All the additional supplements you can take will not be efficasious if the proper enzymes are not in evidence to break them down and allow them to be absorbed by the body. Cooked enzymes are dead enzymes, they do not help the body to maintain health.

Lack of digestive enzymes can cause any of the following and probably a lot more: Diabetes, Allergies, Skin afflictions, Arthrtis, Fibrocystic or cystic breast disease, Lysosomal Storage Diseases-Fabry, Gaucher, Hurler, Niemann-Pick, Pompe, Tay-Sachs diseases, Sleep disorders, RA, osteoarthritis and fibrositis, chronic fatigue, depression, weight loss, and cancers. In fact a 100% whole raw, fresh foods diet is often used to clean a body of a cancer that has set up shop, by those cancer clinics you hear about with the awesome rate of cures.

We NEED ENZYMES TO DIGEST OUR FOODS!! We don't get them from cooked foods. No proper digestion- no health, we just can't assimilate our foods without digestive enzymes, but never fear, my dear, you can still get some of these lovely digestive enzymes from your pancreas, you know that nice little organ nestled by the liver that gives us insulin to keep us from being Diabetics? One small problem however, our poor over-worked pancreas only has a finite amount of digestive enzymes to give us when we eat too much cooked foods, then it's curtains, Bub, you just get sicker and sicker, then you die. Juicy health

Ok, I'm not a Scientist, I'm merely paraphrasing what science has come up with to make easy reading for an extremely complicated subject, Please read the sources I've listed for yourself, to learn more.

In order to make sure I get plenty of enzymes I take CellPower™ because for one thing it does have lots of digestive enzymes in it, also it helps to balance the pH levels and is antibiotic, anti-viral-and anti-fungal.

Seventeenth Chapter
A Sunday school teacher was giving her class the assignment for the next week.
"Next Sunday," she said, "we are going to talk about liars, and in preparation for our lesson I want you all to read the Seventeenth Chapter of Mark."
The following week, at the beginning of the class meeting, the teacher said, "Now then, all of you who have prepared for the lesson by reading the Seventeenth Chapter of Mark, please step to the front of the room."
About half the class rose and came forward.
"The rest of you may leave," said the teacher, "these students are the ones I want to talk to. There is no Seventeenth Chapter in the Book of Mark."

The motorist sat down and wrote out a check and handed it to the farmer.
"Here," he said, "is the check for $900. It is post-dated six years from now."

GETTING THE BEST EXERCISE IN WINTER

Just moving around is so much harder in winter, but our bodies can't just hibernate like bears do, so we must workout indoors to keep our blood sugar levels lowered and our bodies toned and running smoothly. Once again, I have searched the web to find yet anither boon for those who want to improve their health even thought they have Diabetes. I hope this will help you all out there in cyberland.

(1)

Winter Workouts at Home
Six Indoor Exercises to Strengthen Your Core

When chilly winter weather keeps you inside, you still have plenty of options for exercise. Take advantage of this season to strengthen your core muscles. You won’t need a lot of fancy (or expensive) gear or equipment. There are many types of exercises you can do that work out your muscles by working against gravity. For instance, Pilates-based exercises use your own weight for resistance and can easily be done at home or wherever you travel. Plus, working out your core throughout the winter will help you maintain your strength and flexibility, so when you return to outdoor activities in the spring, you'll avoid injury. Be sure to check with a health care professional before beginning, or making significant changes to, an exercise program.
Try the six exercises below as a daily workout. Repeat this routine a couple of times each week. You can mix in cardiovascular workouts (walking on a treadmill or inside at the mall) on alternate days.
Strengthen Your Core

~Abdominals
I. Leg Raises
Lie on your back with your legs extended straight up.
Rest your arms by your sides or underneath your buttocks.
Keeping your lower back on the floor, lower your legs slowly to a 45-degree angle, then return your legs to the starting position for a count of five seconds.
If you’re a beginner, do one set of eight to 10 repetitions.
If you're more experienced, do two to three sets of eight to 10 repetitions each.
~II. Torso Twist
Lie on your back with your hips and knees bent at a 90-degree angle.
Place your hands behind your head, with your elbows on the floor.
Bring your right elbow toward your left knee, and extend your right leg at the same time. You should be bending from the waist with your left elbow on the ground.
Hold for one second, and then return to the starting position. Complete the set on one side before you go to the other side.
If you’re a beginner, do one set of eight to 10 repetitions.
If you're more experienced, do two to three sets of eight to 10 repetitions each.
Back Muscles

~III. Flat Back Extension
Lie facedown on the floor with your hands at your sides, next to your hips.
Not using your arms, slowly raise your shoulders and chest off the floor about four to six inches.
Hold for one second, keeping your lower body relaxed and your head in line with your upper body.
If you’re a beginner, do one set of eight to 10 repetitions.
If you're more experienced, do two to three sets of eight to 10 repetitions.
~IV. Kneeling Back Extensions (Cat-Camel)
Start on your hands and knees with your weight squarely over your wrists and knees.
Round your back, tucking your chin to your chest and your hips under.
Scoop your belly and press up like a camel. Hold for five seconds.
Exhale and reverse, arching your back and sinking into your shoulders like a cat. Hold for five seconds. Do 10 times.
Waist/Love Handles

~V. Side Bend Without Weights
Stand straight, with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding your chin parallel to the floor. Interlock your fingers behind your head, with your elbows pointing out.
Turn your head to the right, looking over your right shoulder. Slowly bend to the right, keeping the arms in place.
Repeat, turning to the left side.
If you’re a beginner, do one set of eight to 10 repetitions per side.
If you're more experienced, do two to three sets of eight to 10 repetitions per side.

~VI. Side Bend With Weights
Stand with legs shoulder-width apart, hands extended to each side, holding a dumbbell (two to three pounds).
Bend slowly to the right side and hold for three to five seconds.
Repeat, turning to the left side.
If you’re a beginner, do one set of eight to 10 repetitions per side.
If you're more experienced, do two to three sets of eight to 10 repetitions per side and use 3- to 5-pound dumbbells.

HONEY :THE SHORT AND SWEET and good health

(1)
Honey is a treat, and is man's oldest sweetener. It is an excellent substitute for sugar in our drinks and food. It is also good for many medicinal uses and treating certain conditions. Reliance on commercialized medicines which contain too many chemicals can become hazardous to our health.

BENEFITS:

1-It contains; glucose and fructose and minerals like magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium chlorine, sulphur, iron and phosphate, vitamins B1, B2, C, B6, B5 and B3 all of which change according to the qualities of the nectar and pollen. Besides the above, copper, iodine, and zinc as well as Several kinds of hormones.

2-If you have seasonal allergies local honey can be helpful. Bees gather local pollens and after it's made into honey it creates a resistance to pollen-generated allergies.

3-honey has the ability to attract moisture so it's great for skin and added to olive oil for hair too.

4-For a sore throat honey has antimicrobial properties and if you add lemon juice to it it's quite soothing and healing.

5-For wounds it kill viruses, bacteria, and fungus making it a good wound dressing. Many types of bacteria can’t survive in honey, so wounds heal, swelling eases, and tissue can grow back.

6-Honey may also be effective in the treatment of your ulcers. In Europe, honey has been used internally to help cure ulcers, particularly stomach ulcers

7-It also works great applied liberally on burns-Many types of bacteria can’t survive in honey, so wounds heal, swelling eases, and tissue can grow back.

8- A teaspoon of honey will aid the digestion also allowing a sluggish bowel to expel it's contents.

9- It has a marvelous antioxidant that liberates and flushes free radicals.

10-Raw honey in green tea causes a significantly lower rise in blood sugar levels than other sugars.

But it has to be raw honey, pasteurizing it absolutely ruins it and it becomes just another sugar, ready willing and able to raise your blood sugar levels and little else. Like overheating other foods it renders it another non-food item just something that's a moment on the lips and a lifetime on the hips.

Pasteurized foods like honey and milk are not just not healthy, they are now unhealthy, not recognized in the body as food, and whatever isn't food is rejected as a poison taxing our immune system. Yes it goes into the digestive system like normal, but the other organs that depend upon the proper nutrients, like the bone marrow that makes healthy blood, the liver that filters impurities, the pancreas that manufactures insulin, the spleen that creates an atmosphere of healing, the colon and kidneys that rid the body of wastes are not given the basic building blocks necessary for continued health, so somewhere down the line illness happens and pharmaceuticals are ingested to cover[or mask]the manifestation of that illness.

Those pharmaceuticals are also unhealthy because the very definition of a drug is that it causes a reaction [side effects]. Pretty soon the patient not only has a disease but also chemicals that are not recognized by the body as nutrients fouling up the delicate balances of the various systems. Then because one drug causes an adverse reaction, like GERD or stomach aches another drug is prescribed [that will inevitably CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS]. The human body has amazing recuperative properties and will heal itself.

~~~digression~~~
Yes, we have, at least in the Industrialized nations, pretty much eradicated diseases like typhoid, Cholera, Chicken pox, measles, mumps and small pox, but we now have an epidemic of Type 2 diabetes-even in young children! Also on the rise are Lupus, MS, HIV AIDS, AUTISM and I could go on and on. Some Cancers for instance that were rare or non-existent 50 years ago are rampant. Now, many extremely rare diseases of yesterday are listed as 1 in 166 or even 1 in 4 as to the numbers of people contracting them and even dying of them. It's not all due to alcohol and cigarettes, my friends, our sedentary lifestyles, our increasing drug use- illegal and/or sanctioned [what's the diff to our bodies], our unhealthy foods and poor diet choices are taking their toll. Most people nowadays can look forward to maybe 70 years of life but the last 15 or so many, if not most, will suffer in ill health for that time.
~~~ end digression~~~

I am not even mentioning the effects of many of the food additives like High fructose corn syrup, MSG, and dyes. All of them have their own dangers.

I find taking CellPower™ everyday keeps me from ever getting sick no matter what I'm exposed to and trust me I get exposed.....

and also I'm using:
FLAX SEED OIL for my colon, but of course
~Glutathione-the master antioxidant is a great helper to counteract many diabetic complications.
~4 essential minerals for diabetics
~SELENIUMhelps immune system, fights infection and aids circulation
~MAGNESIUMhelps to relax you, aids stress and muscle relaxing
~CHROMIUMimproves insulin sensitivity, and helps lower blood sugar.
~ZINC especially to help you heal.
~coconut oil

for the Omega-3~6 balance and losing weight

I quit eating any HFCS and GM food, AND processed foods but I do take:
CellPower™

Proper Narrative Descriptions

It has come to our attention from several Police and Fire Dept reports, that narratives have taken a decidedly creative direction lately. Effective
immediately, all members are to refrain from using slang and abbreviations to describe victims, patients and/or suspects as the following:

1. Cardiac patients should not be referred to with MUH (messed up heart), PBS (pretty bad shape), PCL (Pre-code looking) or HIBGIA (had it before, got it again).

2. Stroke patients are NOT "Charlie Carrots." Nor are rescuers to use CCFCCP (Coo Coo for Cocoa Puffs) to describe their mental state.

3. Trauma patients are not CATS (cut all to shreds), FDGB ( fall down, go boom), TBC (total body crunch) or "hamburger helper." Similarly, descriptions of a car crash do not have to include phrases like "negative vehicle to vehicle interface" or "terminal deceleration syndrome."

4. HAZMAT teams are highly trained professionals, not "glow worms."

5. Persons with altered mental states as a result of drug use are not considered "pharmaceutically gifted."

6. Gunshot wounds to the head are not "trans-occipital implants."

7. The homeless are not "urban outdoors people" or "residentially challenged" nor is endotracheal intubation referred to as a "PVC challenge."

8. And finally, do not refer to recently deceased persons as being "paws up," ART (assuming room temperatures), DRT (dead right there), CC (cancel Christmas), CTD (circling the drain), or NLPR (no longer playing records).

I know you will join me in respecting the cultural diversity of our community, to include their medical orientations in creating proper narratives and log entries.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

From the Manitoba Herald, Canada (a very underground paper):

The flood of American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week, sparking calls for increased patrols to stop the illegal immigration.

The actions of President Bush are prompting the exodus among left-leaning citizens who fear they'll soon be required to hunt, pray, and agree with Bill O'Reilly.

Canadian border farmers say it's not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, animal-rights activists and Unitarians crossing their fields at night.

"I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn," said Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield, whose acreage borders North Dakota. The producer was cold, exhausted and hungry. He asked me if I could spare a latte and some free-range chicken.

"When I said I didn't have any, he left. Didn't even get a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?"

In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. So he tried installing speakers, that blare Rush Limbaugh across the fields. "Not real effective," he said. "The liberals still got through, and Rush annoyed the cows so much they wouldn't give milk."

Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals near the Canadian border, pack them into Volvo station wagons, drive them across the border and leave them to fend for themselves.

"A lot of these people are not prepared for rugged conditions," an Ontario border patrolman said. "I found one carload without a drop of drinking water. "They did have a nice little Napa Valley cabernet, though."

When liberals are caught, they're sent back across the border, often wailing loudly that they fear retribution from conservatives. Rumors have been circulating about the Bush administration establishing re-education camps in which liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer and watch NASCAR races.

In recent days, liberals have turned to sometimes-ingenious ways of crossing the border. Some have taken to posing as senior citizens on bus trips to buy cheap Canadian prescription drugs. After catching a half-dozen young vegans disguised in powdered wigs, Canadian immigration authorities began stopping buses and quizzing the supposed senior-citizen passengers on Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney hits to prove they were alive in the '50s.

"If they can't identify the accordion player on The Lawrence Welk Show, we get suspicious about their age," an official said. Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage and renting all the good Susan Sarandon movies.

"I feel sorry for American liberals, but the Canadian economy just can't support them," an Ottawa resident said . "How many art-history majors or sociology professors does one country need?"

Jim and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there. Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out.

When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna's heroic act, she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her to be mentally stable. When she went to tell Edna the news she said, "Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you're being discharged; since you were able to rationally respond to a Crisis by jumping in and saving the life of another patient, I have concluded that your act displays sound mindedness.

The bad news is, Jim, the patient you saved, hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he's dead."

Edna replied, "He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry. How soon can I go home?"

WHERE I WAS, WHERE I AM, WHAT HELPS

I have a friend from when I lived close to Seattle, who is just barely a year older than I am and the last I heard she is in the hospital and she's giving up the fight.
Just last year I felt that sick, I was diabetic, and all my systems were getting compromised one after another, I was so fat there were a lot of things I needed help doing like tying my shoes and some other even more embarrassing help. I hurt so bad and felt so awful all the time, my blood sugar levels were way outta control I could barely sleep and I had no energy. I ate like the oinker I resembled. After working hard to lose weight and get fitter I've lowered my blood sugar levels to rock bottom. I'm in control of my eating, exercising, I no longer live to eat but eat to live.

My diet currently is not that exciting but it is mostly adequate, I still get hungry, to keep my weight down and hopefully lose more? But the truly exciting thing is I'm feeling so much better, I'm busily making clothes and taking in or giving away all the horribly huge things I have in my closet, See as I was so fat I quit caring what I looked like and I chose my clothing, not for style, but simply if they were big enough to hide at least some of the rolls. I can tie my shoes pretty easily now, and my feet aren't nearly as swollen, I have energy and more importantly I have my ambition back, To explain... I not only have the ability to get things done, but have the 'want to' also.

A great side effect of getting well and having a future again is that I'm just happy,
for me this is really something because a big part of my problem is that I've always struggled with deep depression. I was bi-polar also so I know the difference between the euphoria of the high part of the disease and just happy. God delivered me from the bi-polar part.

I started taking CellPower™
cellpower~natural cures,natural alternative medicine,body rescue alkalizing,most alkalizing,alkalizing drops,body ph health<br />natural healing,cell health,oxygenate,cellpower,detoxify, and my weight loss and better eating doctors got a hold of me.

Some of the things I've learned while doing this journal:

~Cinnamon really lowers the blood sugar, but you need to take a lot of it
~taking liver cleanses really help the diabetic person get control of blood glucose

~Essential fatty acidsfor better health
~FLAX SEED OIL

I've also learned not to eat ANY MSG it puts weight on, seriously! Or any /high Fructose Corn syrup, it also makes the extra poundage gather at the waist.

Mostly though the CellPower™ has given me the power boost towards great health. It properly adjusts the body pH, fights viruses, bacteria, and fungi, helps lower blood pressure, adds enzymes to the body lost from cooking foods. It can help with:Allergies pH imbalances Emphysema Indigestion Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) Kidney infections Chronic fatigue syndrome Skin disorders Bronchial asthma Arthritis and joint pain Short-term memory loss Fibromyalgia Viral, fungal, and bacterial infections Muscle pain Candidiasis, and for me it HAS!

A walker noticed an old lady sitting on her front step, so he walked up
to her and said, "I couldn't help noticing how happy you look! What
is your secret?"

"I smoke ten cigars a day," she said. "Before I go to bed, I smoke a
nice big joint. Apart from that, I drink a whole bottle of Jack
Daniels every week, and eat only junk food. On week-ends, I pop pills
and do no exercise at all."

"That is absolutely amazing! How old are you?"

"Twenty-four," she replied.

Junior high school students in Chicago were studying the Seven Wonders of the World. At
the end of the lesson, the students were asked to list what they considered to be the Seven
Wonders of the World. Though there was some disagreement, the following received the
most votes:

1. Egypt's Great Pyramids
2. The Taj Mahal in India
3. The Grand Canyonin Arizona
4. The Panama Canal
5. The EmpireState Building
6. St. Peter's Basilica
7. China's Great Wall

While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student, a quiet girl, hadn't turned in her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list. The quiet girl replied, "Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind because there were so many." The teacher said, "Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help."

The girl hesitated, then read, "I think the Seven Wonders of the World are:

1. to touch...
2. to taste...
3. to see...
4. to hear... (She hesitated a little, and then added...)
5. to feel...
6. to laugh...
7. and to love.

The room was so quiet, you could have heard a pin drop.

May this story serve as a gentle reminder to all of us that the things we overlook as simple and ordinary are often the most wonderful - and we don't have to travel anywhere special to experience them.

Have a Grrreat day!

ALKALINE WATER

Are those pricey alkaline water units worth it? Do they help or harm?

OK here's the theory: An alkaline body is the ideal, so drinking water that is alkaline will help you heal, right?

Not necessarily. For instance if you checked out the alkalizing food lists I posted you'd see things like lemons are very alkalizing, and they are so very acidic in taste, we pucker up just thinking about them. See acid-alkaline-revisited for acid and alkaline food lists.

[digression]
Distilled water is acidic but add CellPower™, and the total effect is to alkalize the body, bringing it back to where it is in a healthy condition and the immune system fights off any infectious diseases also. While the body is regaining it's original pH CellPower™ is also anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral. CellPower™ also adds enzymes to your body being a great all-around supplement that is cost effective, easy to use and REALLY WORKS![/end digression]

Some call the alkalizing water machines "snake oil on tap".

If you are trying to alkalize an acid stomach check this out first, we all assume chewing lots of chalky alkaline tabs will helop, but the problem may not be acid at all but a stomach that hurts might be too alkaline already the best thing for you might be a tablespoon of vinegar instead.

Now lets's talk about the causes of a painful tummy.

(1)
It is equally a well established fact of science that when we chew a piece of bread or potato or any other carbohydrate/starch, ptyalin and other alkaline juices are immediately secreted into the food by saliva in the mouth. When swallowed, the alkalized starches require an alkaline medium in the stomach in order to complete their digestion.

Anyone should be able to figure out what therefore happens when you ingest protein and starch together. Acid and alkaline juices are secreted simultaneously in response to the incoming protein and starch, promptly neutralizing one another and leaving a weak, watery solution in the stomach that digests neither protein nor starch properly. Instead, the proteins putrefy and the starches ferment owning to the constant presence of bacteria in the digestive tract.

This putrefaction and fermentation are the primary cause of all sorts of digestive distress, including gas, heartburn, cramps, bloating, constipation, foul stools, bleeding, piles, colitis, and so forth.

Our stomach is filled with a very corrosive acid-Hydrochloric, poured full strength on clothing it will dissolve it, how could a glass of orange or tomato juice put us over the edge on acidosis?* No, the chemical soup we use to digest our foods is way more complicated than that. The acidifying foods are ones whose chemical composition will cause an acid reaction in the body, the alkalizing foods while not all alkaline in pH themselves will cause an alkaline reacton. Drinking alkalized water isn't going to help you become alkaline in pH, because it is acidifying by nature. Please note the different forms of the alkali word, Alkaline doesn't necessarily alkalize.

*Actually I use orange juice for the rare case of 'heartburn' I get, it works great!
I find that since I've been taking CellPower™ I am getting well from so many problems I've had.
Some more help that I need, for weight control, is coconut oil

HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY? (As answered by kids!)

WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?
Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then.

On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that usually gets
them interested enough to go for a second date.

I'd run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers

IMPORTANT INFORMATION WE ALL NEED-VARIOUS

First, the chat is fixed, finally! PEASE FEEL FREE TO GIVE ME YOUR FEEDBACK.

You know I've really been pushing the information on body pH. see: pH and Diabetes and pH crises.

Well there is more; lots more, I've been telling you how dangerous MSG is: What's so exciting about MSG an article about excito-toxins that kill your brain cells. I've found out that eating things with MSG in it or any other of the excito-toxins like Aspartame... will put the body in a condition that INVITES Diabetes and other diseases, it actually, like sugar, feeds cancers and asthma!!!!!!! see:(1)food and health this site will give you lots of information, just so you won't think I'm just a nutcase spouting my personal opinion here folks.

You ever have a hangover? Well a hangover is the alcohol killing off brain cells, Guess what? MSG produces that same awful headache and why? You guessed it it's just killed off your precious brain cells.

I'm not through, there is so much research on all the sites I just gave you, I won't belabor the points on MSG and Aspartame anymore, read them for yourself

I HAVE MORE NEWS!

ENZYMES, we simply don't get any with our great convenience foods because it's all pasteurized, pulverized, genetically modified, processed, homogenized and just simply cooked to death and there are NO enzymes left!

Why do we need enzymes?
(2)

SYNDROMES COMMON TO ENZYME DEFICIENCY
PMS
Hot flashes Fatigue
Cold hands and feet Neck and shoulder aches Sprue
Inflammation
Protease Deficiency Back weakness
Fungal forms Constipation High Blood Pressure Insomnia
Hearing problems Parasites
Gum disorders Gingivitis
Lipase Deficiency Aching feet Arthritis Bladder problems Cystitis
Acne
Gall bladder stress Gallstones
Hay fever Prostate problems Psoriasis
Urinary weakness Constipation Diarrhea
Heart problems
Combination Deficiency Chronic allergies
Common colds Diverticulitis Irritable Bowel Syndrome Chronic fatigue
Sinus infection
Immune depressed conditions
Amylase Deficiency Breaking out of the skin - rash Hypoglycemia
Depression Mood swings Allergies

Amylase Deficiency:
Amylase digests carbohydrates (converts them to sugars) along with dead white blood cells. When you are low in amylase you are a candidate for blood sugar imbalances, Hypoglycemia, Type II Diabetes, carbohydrate cravings and allergies. Amylase is also involved in anti-inflammatory reactions such as those caused by the release of histamine and similar substances. Asthma and emphysema may also be exacerbated by an amylase deficiency.

And we are getting no, zero, none in the way of enzymes in our foods. Fortunately I'm taking CellPower™ so I'm getting lots of enzymes in that.

Desmolases
Zymohexase (Adlolase)
Carboxylase

Other Enzymes
Phosphorylase
Phosphohexoisomerase
Hexokinase
Phosphoglumutase

I used this source because all the information was in an easily copy and paste mode but I'm reading a great book on enzymes called The Missing Ingredient For Good Health by Lee Uler.

He says we can take handfulls of antioxidants and still be very sick. When a person has been poked, prodded, carved upon, drugged up and nearly destroyed by drugs by Physicians and they've decided it's time for the patiient to die, that patient goes to a cancer center or other alternative health clinic they are then treated with what? Foods, whole uncooked foods and enzyme supplements and then they get well, over and over and over this happens, they just get well and THIS IS AFTER THE DOCTORS SAY THEY ARE JUST GOING TO DIE, PERIOD.

If this information isn't something to get excited about I don't know what is. Pain, Digestive troubles like Leaky-gut and IBS,Gas,constipation etc., heart/circulation problems, cancers, Diabetes and Autism, are all affected adversely by lack of Enzymes. We all need them and supplementing only makes sense!

I am on a crusade people I want everyone to get well, to live in not just ok health but robust, vigorous health, bursting with well-being as our creator intended us to be in.

I'm doing that with CellPower™

You can do it anyway you want.

I'm also taking coconut oil

More Suthen-ism's:
Only a Southerner knows the difference between a hissie fit and a conniption fit, and that you don't "HAVE" them, you "PITCH" them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Only a Southerner knows how many fish, collard greens, turnip greens, peas, beans, etc., make up "a mess."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Only a Southerner can show or point out to you the general direction of "yonder."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Only a Southerner knows exactly how long "directly" is, .. as in: "Going to town, be back directly."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even Southern babies know that "Gimme some sugar" is not a request for the white, granular sweet substance that sits in a pretty little bowl in the middle of the table.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All Southerners know exactly when "by and by" is. They might not use the term, but they know the concept well.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Only a Southerner knows instinctively that the best gesture of solace for a neighbor who's got trouble is a plate of hot fried chicken and a big bowl of cold potato salad. If the neighbor's trouble is a real crisis, they also know to add a large banana puddin!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Only Southerners grow up knowing the difference between "right near" and "a right far piece." They also know that "just down the road" can be 1 mile or 20.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Only a Southerner, both knows and understands, the difference between a redneck, a good ol' boy, and po' white trash.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No true Southerner would ever assume that the car with the flashing turn signal is actually going to make a turn.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Southerner knows that "fixin" can be used as a noun, a verb, or an adverb.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Only Southerners make friends while standing in lines, ... and when we're "in line," . we talk to everybody!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Put 100 Southerners in a room and half of them will discover they're related, even if only by marriage.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the South, y'all is singular, all y'all is plural.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Southerners know grits come from corn and how to eat them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Every Southerner knows tomatoes with eggs, bacon, grits, and coffee are perfectly wonderful; that red eye gravy is also a breakfast food; and that fried green tomatoes are not a breakfast food.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When you hear someone say, "Well, I caught myself lookin'," you know you are in the presence of a genuine Southerner!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Only true Southerners say "sweet tea" and "sweet milk." Sweet tea indicates the need for sugar and lots of it -- we do not like our tea unsweetened. "Sweet milk" means you don't want buttermilk.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And a true Southerner knows you don't scream obscenities at little old ladies who drive 30 MPH on the freeway. You just say,"Bless her heart" ... and go your own way.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To those of you who are still a little embarrassed by your Southerness: Take two tent revivals and a dose of sausage gravy and call me in the morning. Bless your heart!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And to those of you who are still having a hard time understanding all this Southern stuff, ... bless your hearts, I hear they are fixin' to have classes on Southernness as a second language!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And for those that are not from the South but have lived here for a long time, all y'all need a sign to hang on y'alls front porch that reads "I ain't from the South, but I got here as fast as I could."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Southern girls know men may come and go, but friends are fahevah !

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now...... Shugah, send this to someone who was raised in the South or wish they had been!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you're a Northern transplant, Bless your little heart, fake it.
We know you got here as fast as you could.

CAROTENOIDS~BENEFITS TO HEALTH

Here are some different carotenoids, you know what they are; (1)Carotenoids are a class of natural fat-soluble pigments found principally in plants, algae, and photosynthetic bacteria, where they play a critical role in the photosynthetic process.

Here are some different classes of carotenoids
Zeaxanthin
Lutein
Beta-cryptoxanthin
Lycopene
Alpha-carotene
Trans-beta-carotene
Cis-beta-carotene

Studies have shown that low levels of Zeaxanthin and Lutein in elderly patients and have suggested a link between loss of cognitive ability and low ingestion of tomatoes and Mangoes.

To age gracefully I suggest you eat plenty of both. We all have heard of the link showing that there is a low-incidence of cancer in those who eat plenty of foods high in Lutein.

I love tomatoes and yes they have some sugar in them and yes, I'm diabetic, but I'm at the point where I'm barely diabetic, I take so little insulin and even after eating my blood sugar levels are still inside the diabetic normal range.

The problem with diabetes, I know this is a digression but bear with me here, is that the foods with the goodnesses [vits and minerals, and fiber] in them are not allowed. For instanvce they tell you to eat lots of fiber, now what's a lot? We are all supposed to eat between 12-15 grams per day, leet's see that three cups of spinach, 1 cup of brocolli, and a large apple, add a tablespoon of psyllium to water before bed and you're all set. So, a lot would be more, Now I'm not including the best sources of fiber-breads etc. because they are non-diabetic foods. So, how does the diabetic eat more of this and not eat too much?

Ok, so we are reasonably healthy and want to stay that way. We definately want to eat carotenoids: (2)"Sources include liver, whole milk, and some fortified food products. Retinol can be made into retinal and retinoic acid (other active forms of vitamin A) in the body."

Some provitamin A carotenoids have been shown to function as antioxidants in laboratory studies; however, this role has not been consistently demonstrated in humans. Antioxidants protect cells from free radicals, which are potentially damaging by-products of oxygen metabolism that may contribute to the development of some chronic diseases.

(3)Zeaxanthin has been shown to reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration
zeaxanthin is most plentiful in yellow corn, orange pepper, squash, mango, honeydew, broccoli, and egg yolks.

lycopene (which gives tomatoes, watermelons and pink grapefruit their red color) has turned into something of a media darling, mostly due to studies that have shown this carotenoid to offer protection against breast, prostate, and pancreatic cancers, as well as heart disease.

USDA study revealed that three cups of diced watermelon, taken daily, may result in blood serum lycopene and beta-carotene concentrations that are five times higher than in people who don't get a good intake of fresh fruits and vegetables. If you don't want the watermelon juice; put some heat under a tomato. Studies have shown that the body absorbs lycopene from tomatoes more efficiently when tomato dishes are heated. Also I have read that canning tomatoes doesn't significantly affect the goodnesses in tomatoes and tomato juice. Also if you cook the tomatoes with a bit of fat like cheese or meat it will increase it's absorbtion as well. Welsh Rarebit anyone?

I find that since I've been taking CellPower™ I am getting well from so many problems I've had. I do eat lots of veggies and fruits now, I think my increases interest in them is a 'side effect of taking cellpower and my atitude, I just seem to be upbeat and happy all the time, and this is from someone who has a predisposition for suicidal depression.

MODERN STRESSES AND OUR HEALTH

I know everyone has heard about free radicals:
(1)
"To understand the way that free radicals and antioxidants interact, you must first understand a bit about cells and molecules. So here's a (very) brief refresher course in Physiology/Chemistry 101: The human body is composed of many different types of cells. Cells are composed of many different types of molecules. Molecules consist of one or more atoms of one or more elements joined by chemical bonds.

The human body is composed of many different types of cells. Cells are composed of many different types of molecules. Molecules consist of one or more atoms of one or more elements joined by chemical bonds.

Atoms consist of a nucleus, neutrons, protons and electrons. The number of protons (positively charged particles) in the atom’s nucleus determines the number of electrons (negatively charged particles) surrounding the atom. Electrons are involved in chemical reactions and are the substance that bonds atoms together to form molecules. Electrons surround, or "orbit" an atom in one or more shells. The innermost shell is full when it has two electrons. When the first shell is full, electrons begin to fill the second shell. When the second shell has eight electrons, it is full, and so on.

Normally, bonds don’t split in a way that leaves a molecule with an odd, unpaired electron. But when weak bonds split, free radicals are formed. Free radicals are very unstable and react quickly with other compounds, trying to capture the needed electron to gain stability. Generally, free radicals attack the nearest stable molecule, "stealing" its electron. When the "attacked" molecule loses its electron, it becomes a free radical itself, beginning a chain reaction. Once the process is started, it can cascade, finally resulting in the disruption of a living cell.

Some free radicals arise normally during metabolism. Sometimes the body’s immune system’s cells purposefully create them to neutralize viruses and bacteria. However, environmental factors such as pollution, radiation, cigarette smoke and herbicides can also spawn free radicals.

Antioxidants neutralize free radicals by donating one of their own electrons, ending the electron-"stealing" reaction. The antioxidant nutrients themselves don’t become free radicals by donating an electron because they are stable in either form They act as scavengers, helping to prevent cell and tissue damage that could lead to cellular damage and disease."

Is that clear? Ok, it's like this three kids form a play group, there has to be three, one more joins and they are unhappy, so a rescue group joins and there are two groups of three; as happy as can be.

(1)
The Lesson: Eat Your Fruits and Vegetables!
The antioxidants are believed to help protect the body from free-radical damage. But before you go out and stock your pantry with mega-doses of these vitamins, be warned: more is not always better. The long-term effect of large doses of these nutrients has not been proven. Other chemicals and substances found in natural sources of antioxidants may also be responsible for the beneficial effects. So for now, the best way to ensure adequate intake of the antioxidant nutrients is through a balanced diet consisting of 5-8 servings of fruits and vegetables per day.

Of course as we've seen before not all veggies and fruits are created equal, threre are real foods and GM 'foods', ther is stuff grown in good soil and some grown in poor soil, there is food grown both with and without the 'cides [herba- and pesti-]. So often supplementing is better than doing without or getting bad 'food'.

My first choice for detoxifying is CellPower™. It puffs up our cells with oxygen that is lacking in our environment air, and allows the release of all spent nutrients that build up and also forces the free radicals out.

VOC gasses:

VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compounds. And there's nothing 'organic' in the classic "good for you' sense.

We've all heard that the travel trailers made for Katrina victims has further victimized them with VOC gasses left in them from the manufacturing processes. The new smell you get in automobiles, Mobil homes, new construction on stick-built homes is formaldahydde.

I have a personal story concerning formaldahyde. I worked for 8 months in a dot com business. The office had an issue with formaldahyde in the carpets and I developed a case of bronchitis that has never really left me and it's been 4 years since I was in that building. However with the CellPower™, I'm really on-the-mend.

Not all VOC's are formaldahyde; Perchloroethylene is a cancer-causing VOC used in dry cleaning. Look for environmentally friendly cleaners that do not use this toxic chemical.

(2)
Sources of VOCs Include ...
Paints
Paint strippers and other solvents
Wood preservatives
Aerosol sprays
Cleansers and disinfectants
Moth repellents
Air fresheners
Stored fuels and automotive products
Hobby supplies
Dry-cleaned clothing
Varnishes
Newspaper
Cooking
Vinyl floors
Carpets
Photocopying
Upholstery fabrics
Adhesives
Sealing caulks
Cosmetics
Vehicle exhaust
Pressed wood furniture
Tobacco smoke (secondhand smoke)

Acute symptoms of VOC exposure include:
Eye irritation/watering, Nose and throat irritation, Headaches, Nausea/vomiting,
Dizziness, Asthma exacerbation, Allergic skin reaction, Memory impairment,Visual disorders,
However, over time, VOCs can lead to many serious conditions including:
Cancer, Damage to the liver, kidney and central nervous system,Loss of coordination.

'cides:

Agri-business just doesn't have the resources we've had in times past to individualy pick weeds or pluck insects off crops to keep the crop safe from either, so they use buckets of herbacides and pesticides to do that job for them.

Let's just face facts here we on this planet are all carbon-based and what kills the cells of a batch of quack grass will kill cells in our own bodies. What distroys an insect that sucks the juices out of a plant will do something yucky to us too.

I am not going into a huge dissertation of what the individual chemicals that are used for each of these 'cides will do to us, I will just give you an anecdotal account. My step-father was a State Agricultural inspecter in Minnesota. he knew lots of varied people in this capacty and since hje had a large potato farm he met with and had lots of experience with chemicals. He told me he watched as a friend of his who was a pesticide sprayer; piloting a spray plane, accidentally flew into a cloud of pesticide he'd just sprayed. Well, he landed, got out and promptly fell dead on the tarmac, 'Nuff said.

I don't like to think of this but it's quite true that much of these chemicals are not just on the veggies and fruits but inside them. More free radicals.....We are constantly exposed to this chemical stew, and it's no wonder we stay so sick, and even if we "have a longer life span" than previous generations the quality of that life is certainly not lasting. This is why a good supplement like CellPower™ is so necessary for those who are beginning to feel our environmental stresses, and especially for those who aren't yet. I was so very sick when I started taking it that it immediatly gave me a huge boost of energy, cleared up some problems I've had with me for many years and is working quite well on getting the chronic troubles chased outta me.

It is a natural product, which unlike drugs that shock and awe your body into change, often causing side effects, cellpower will gently adjust your systems towards health, without causing sides at all. Sometimes there is a Herxheimer effect, Your body; while throwing off toxins and pollutants, will feel a bit sickish, sometimes for as long as two weeks, then a huge burst of health will follow.

I had just done a few flushes, liver and colon, so I got the Herxheimer's with them and was primed for that lovely burst of health. See:for an explaination of Herxheimer's

A patient underwent intense therapy to rid him of the delusion that a huge fortune awaited him. He was expecting two letters: one would give him sole title to a huge Spanish treasure lost by Francisco Orellena in the Amazon River; the other, of course, from Publisher's Clearing House awarding him 11.7 million dollars.

Just when the psychiatrist was making real progress in curing the man, both letters arrived.

I'm still waiting for my letters. Today's the day!

The player agreed, so the coach looked into his eyes intently and asked, "Okay, now concentrate hard and tell me the answer to this. What is two plus two?"

The player thought for a moment and then answered, "4?"

"Did you say 4?" the coach exclaimed, excited that he had got it right.

FACTORS IN DIABETES MANAGEMENT- SEASONAL INFLUENCES

For me, I do tend to stay pretty busy all summer and get better exercise during the summer months. Right now it's getting to where I can't be outside as much. Let's just be honest here for a minute, Even though I've lost weight, I'm still overweight and heat is hard on me. So are the mosquitoes [I must be delicious!], and at this time of year I have to be careful not to go outside too early or too late, so I'm outside during the hot parts of the day. I still get lots of work done, weeding, watering, repotting, assorted wheelbarrow chores; dragging soil and leaves from one place to another.

~~~[digression]~~~
I studied gardening and landscaping from a master gardener in Eastern Washington state, I was much younger then, but I remember at the time I wasn't very healthy; I worked very slowly. I really feel like I'm healthier now, even though I weigh more. A few years after that time in Eastern Washington I was riding a mountain bike daily-in the mountains of Idaho and got so muscular that I'm now dragging around fat and lots of [heavy] muscle, still I think being muscular even under the fat is doing me more good than bad. I believe people who were at one time very active will find it is helpful if they need to regain health after some time being sedentary. Sure it's hard to make the transition from a rocking chair to a daily regimen of exercise, but the reserves to do it are there.
~~~[/digression]~~~

I have motivation to get my home's landscaping looking nice. While we rent this house,[we going to be are buying it, but haven't signed the papers yet]and have lived here for 5 years I've always wanted to do landscaping so I had secured permission to alter what I wanted from our landlord 4 years ago. At that time we spent 8 hour days, 7 days a week every March cleaning out the existing beds, creating new beds. Trimming trees and bushes, painting the house and garage, planting and adding more gardens, building a patio, and maintenance of the 1/2 acre we've accepted as our responsibility. Each year it was something different, a new theme. My husband would groan when I'd say something like, "Honey, This year we can....".

You see he's my Manuel Labor, he carries the big bags of mulch from the car, schleps the patio pavers, and drags the trees I cut down to the woods[I was cutting them down with my bow saw until he bought a chain saw] and he likes to say, "We did that".
If you want to see some of what we've done, I've got lots of photos on this site scroll down to see older pix, photobucket. I have a lot [14 pages! of the inside of the house too, grandkids, crafty stuff...etc. just filter through those to see our home, yard, and the vacant lot next door we maintain too.

Usually I'll go out and start a project we've been talking about and if he gets intrigued he'll join in and start helping. This year he's been much more anxious to start new projects, but then he too is now taking CellPower™. He's losing weight now too, probably because I'm cooking with coconut oil
and is feeling better too. He's had a back injury and was pretty sedentary when we met, 7 years ago. Our yard work is pretty hard on him but he's had years of pain to get used to it and he's so much healthier now, even though he eats mostly meats.

No, I'm not worried about getting exercise in the Summer, I am wondering how I'll do it in winter. I find standing in one place exercising on a machine ludicrous. I have things to do and working out on a machine is just silly. Unfortunately I'm a writer and it is not a very strenuous activity. I have a shop I like to work in in the winter, but when it's really cold my poor feet get so cold standing on the icy concrete floor. I found some carpet that I laid in the garage, but it has to come up to park the car in there. My feet were; from the factory, not made to specs and they have always hurt even when I was thin, so walking for miles is out until I'm much thinner.

I haven't thought of a solution to this problem yet, but I will, I'm hoping as the diabetes fades, as it is doing, I'll be able to lose weight easier and will be lighter on my poor feet, so I will be able to walk in winter.

One thing I really have to do is cut back on my food intake even more. I always feel so hungry now, but it has to be psychological, so I will cut back more. When I was younger I remember thinking of hunger pangs as a good thing, I was losing weight every time my tummy rumbled. NO, I'm no where near being anorexic. As an infant I was waaaay overfed, I have had to battle that all my life.

~~~[digression]~~~
I was just out watering today and I noticed that I actually have figs on my figtree I planted in a pot this year. I never saw any flowers but I see little blobby things growing the 'crotches' of where the upper leaves attach to the main trunk. I was afraid it needed to be older to produce and had given up on having my favorite fruits this year again, I like them fresh but haven't had any since I was nine living in San Bernardino, California. We lived there for a year when my Father was in Viet Nam the first time[1958].
~~~[/digression]~~~

I try to keep up the house and it's up and down stairs to do laundry several times a week. Still that's not enough, and I notice when I take a day off for a short nap or reading a few chapters, I wake up not so chipper the next day.

I'll write a little and go outside and do some puttering, until I'm soaked with sweat, then come in and write some more. This won't go so well in the winter I know.

Exercising [still a dirty word in my vocabulary] is crucial for cardiovascular health too. Getting that heart pumping and flushing out the arteries is so important to keep the old body going strong.

(1)
Seasonal variation: activity in general and walking in particular
Seasonal variation in physical activity has been described in nondiabetic populations. For example, in a community-based study conducted in Michigan, the proportion of respondents reporting no leisure time physical activity was highest in the winter (32.5%) and fall (28.7%) and lowest in the spring (23.4%) and summer (17.0%) [14]. In a Massachussetts study, total MET-hours/day increased by 1.4 (SD = 8.4) among men and 1.0 (SD = 6.0) among women in July compared to January (24-hour physical activity recall) [15]. In one survey, adults who perceived weather as an impediment to walking were three to five times less likely to walk 120 minutes per week [16]. In a study conducted by Tudor-Locke and colleagues, during a one-year period of pedometer self-monitoring in South Carolina and Tennessee (25 participants, nondiabetic), participants recorded a mean of 10,082 steps/day, with 900 more steps/day during the summer compared to the winter. Interestingly, steps/day was highest in June and August, but somewhat lower in July, possibly attributable to extremely warm July temperatures in the southern American states.

Apparently walking is the exercise of choice, so unless I'm ready to quit eating altogether I'd better find some size 6-1/2 EEEE-EEE shoes and get to walking. I suppose I could just buy some pricey children's sneakers and hope for the best, kids' shoes are made wider.

Have a great day, may you be always blessed and your wallet always full, May you find fresh pasture and cool shade. Be blessed my friends!

Two bright young engineers applied for the same position at a computer company. Since they had identical qualifications, the company asked the two applicants to take a ten-question test. At the conclusion of the test, one of the applicants was called into the manager's office. "I have graded the test, and you both scored nine correct answers and got one answer wrong. Thank you for your interest, but we've decided to give the job to the other applicant."

"And why would you choose him if we both got nine questions correct?" asked the rejected applicant. "We have based our decision not on the correct answers, but on the question you missed," said the Department manager.

"And just how would one incorrect answer be better than the other?" the rejected applicant inquired.

"Simple," said the Department manager, "The other gentleman answered Question #5, 'I don't know.' Your answer to Question #5 was, 'Neither do I.'"

One day a policeman stopped a motorist who had just gone through a four way stop sign and was about to give him a ticket when the motorist said. "Officer you can't give me a ticket for that!' "Why not" said the officer. "Because although I did not stop I slowed right down and its almost the same." "But you did not stop" replied the officer, "and the sign says STOP." "But the way was clear and it was safe" replied the motorist. The officer then pulls out his baton and starts hitting the motorist. "What are you doing!" yells the motorist in surprise. "Do you want me to slow down or stop" says the officer.
